Syntegon to present its filling and sealing solutions at Interphex
At Interphex 2021 in New York, Syntegon (formerly Bosch Packaging Technology) presents new lab-scale and small-batch filling solutions for solid and liquid pharmaceuticals. "The need for smaller quantities of highly stiff drugs is rising continuously. We take put these solutions in the focus of our current evolution activities and are proud to offering our customers a number of exciting new technologies", says Thomas Mauritzen , general manager at Syntegon Minneapolis.
Both the new GKF threescore sheathing filling machine and the Versynta Flexible Filling Platform (FFP) brand their first alive appearance at berth 3139 from 19-21 Oct, 2021. They are complemented past a comprehensive portfolio of services and new digital solutions.
GKF threescore — Syntegon'southward new standards in capsule filling
The new GKF 60 capsule filling motorcar enables the development of new formulations with a wide multifariousness of dosing systems at different OEB levels and with an optional 100 percent gravimetric weighing organisation. The mobile machine with only half dozen stations requires piffling space and few format parts. Standard dosing modules for DPI, pellets, tablets, or liquids, as well as the mini-bowl station for scale-up to the next larger production automobile, offer the highest flexibility.
Moreover, the newly developed piezo dosing station can accurately fill very small quantities starting at 0.i milligram filling weight. Customers tin choose between a standard, containment, and a combi solution. The latter tin can be adapted for both simple and highly strong formulations up to OEB5 high-containment in just a few steps.
Versynta FFP — Modular small-batch solution for liquid pharmaceuticals
Another innovation, which was adult for highly potent pharmaceuticals, is Syntegon's Versynta FFP. The modular and individually configurable small-batch solution with an integrated isolator for liquid pharmaceuticals achieves precise product yields at low output.
The platform is based on pre-adult and tested modules that tin can be flexibly combined. Information technology handles unlike container types such as vials, syringes, and cartridges and tin be converted to other filling systems, including single-use solutions. The Pharma Handling Unit, a four-axis robot developed by Syntegon, allows for safe and gentle transport without glass-to-glass contact. Versynta FFP processes up to iii,600 containers per 60 minutes and comes with 100 percent in-procedure control.
Pharmaceutical competence from formulation to filling
Visitors to booth 3139 have the opportunity to discuss their current and future projects with the Syntegon experts. Syntegon's portfolio ranges from single machines to complete solutions for lab-calibration to high-speed applications. They include sterilization, freeze-drying, filling, endmost, inspection equipment for liquid pharmaceuticals, and assembly solutions for medical and diagnostic devices.
The portfolio further covers all process steps for solid dosage forms, such as tablet pressing and coating, capsule filling, and continuous manufacturing solutions. Moreover, Syntegon tin rely on 40 years of isolator competence in the U.Southward.: "We developed barrier systems earlier they were in mode," Thomas Mauritzen says. A new entrada further underlines this fact.
Tailored services and digital solutions to meet customers' needs
The portfolio is completed by comprehensive consulting and service offerings along the unabridged auto lifecycle. Syntegon's customized offerings range from spare parts and field service to stock optimization, modernization, and preventive maintenance, equally well as remote and data-based services.
As of November, all Syntegon machines will be delivered ' IoT set up ' and provide interfaces for numerous digital solutions. Customers benefit from a holistic concept for generating, processing, and analyzing machine data, entering a new level of digitalization.
